Welcome to Welcome.to. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Welcome.to website, services, and applications (collectively, the "Platform" or "Service"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use our Service.
1. Eligibility and Account Registration
To use Welcome.to, you must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country to consent to data processing). If you are registering an account on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
When registering, you agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate and complete.
Keep your password secure and confidential.
Be fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
2. Username (Slug) Policy and Custom Domains
As part of the Service, you can select a unique username or slug (e.g., welcome.to/username or come.to/username). You may also use custom domains if supported by your subscription tier.
Ownership: You do not own the username or URL you select. We reserve the right to reclaim, rename, or reassign usernames or slugs at our sole discretion, including but not limited to trademark infringement, impersonation, or prolonged inactivity.
Infringement: You may not select a username that infringes upon the rights of any third party, including trademarks, brand names, or copyrighted names.
3. Account Inactivity and Deactivation Policy
To maintain platform efficiency, optimize server resources, and release inactive custom URLs for active users, we enforce a strict inactivity policy:
Deactivation Criteria: If a user profile registers 0 analytics (zero page views, clicks, or interactions) or receives no visits/traffic for a continuous period of 3 months (90 days), the profile is deemed inactive.
Action: Welcome.to reserves the right to deactivate any profile meeting the deactivation criteria. Deactivation may result in the page being hidden from the public, suspension of services associated with the profile, or release of the username/slug back into the public pool for other users to claim.
Reactivation: Users wishing to reactivate a deactivated profile must log into their dashboard and request reactivation, subject to username availability at the time of the request.
4. Acceptable Use and Content Rules
You retain ownership of the content, links, images, and other materials you upload to your Welcome.to profile ("User Content"). However, you are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting it.
You agree not to upload, post, or link to any content that:
Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or invasive of another's privacy.
Contains explicit adult material, pornography, or sexually explicit content.
Promotes hate speech, violence, discrimination, or harassment against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, disability, or sexual orientation.
Infringes on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party.
Consists of unauthorized advertising, spam, phishing schemes, multi-level marketing (MLM) schemes, or deceptive links.
Contains software viruses, malware, or any other computer code designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any software or hardware.
Welcome.to reserves the right, but does not assume the obligation, to review and remove any User Content or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines at our sole discretion.
5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Payments
Welcome.to offers both free and paid (Pro) subscription plans. By upgrading to a Pro plan, you agree to the following terms:
Billing and Renewals
Paid services are billed on a subscription basis (monthly or annually). Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it through your billing dashboard before the renewal date.
Custom Theme Builder and Features
Features such as the Custom Theme Builder, advanced analytics export, and unlimited links are exclusive to active, paid subscribers. If your subscription is downgraded to the Free tier due to non-payment or cancellation, access to these features will be suspended, and your profile layout may revert to a standard free template.
Refunds
All payments are non-refundable unless required by law or specified otherwise during the promotion period. Downgrading your account will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you will not receive a refund for any unused portion of your subscription.
6. Digital Invitation and Booking Modules
Welcome.to provides specialized modules for Digital Invitations (come.to/invitation) and Booking Managers (come.to/appointment). If you use these modules, you agree to the following rules:
RSVP and Event Management: You are responsible for managing guest list data and communicating with your attendees. Welcome.to is not responsible for event cancellations, changes, or RSVP inaccuracies.
Appointment Scheduling: Welcome.to acts as a facilitator for client bookings. You are solely responsible for setting accurate availability, delivering scheduled services, and handling any payments, cancellations, or disputes directly with your clients. We do not guarantee client attendance or payment.
7. Intellectual Property
Except for User Content, all content, tools, user interfaces, logos, designs, themes, code, and intellectual property on the Welcome.to Platform are the exclusive property of Welcome.to and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of our Platform without our prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
In no event shall Welcome.to, its affiliates, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Welcome.to and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
10. Modifications to the Service and Terms
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We also reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page or by sending an email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country in which Welcome.to operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
